Your New Role…

The Coordinator, Studio Leasing, will support the Studio Leasing Team and the Studio Operations team sales efforts in booking production clients in offices, stages and backlots. They will support the management team who are the first point of contact for 3rd party production teams, location managers, producers, independent creatives, and other studios looking for information about booking the facility. The Coordinator will be responsible for new client onboarding and assist with contract review as the clients move through the process. They will also support the management team with long-term space planning and will work closely with internal corporate groups as they move around the Burbank main lot, The Burbank Studios, and eventually The Ranch studios. They will assist with reviewing weekly Xytech and PlanOn work orders for accuracy before billing and assist when the Studio Ops managers have questions from clients on charges.

This position will also support internal WBD groups including Special Events and the Studio’s publicity efforts. This will include reviewing documentation and insurance requirements, drafting Studio Lease Agreements, License and Indemnity agreements, and Hold Harmless Agreements for third party groups. These often come in late in the day or on weekends and require quick turnaround to support tight deadlines for journalists and trade groups.

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Working with clients on space inquiries. Assisting with the preparation of custom bid sheets, corresponding with potential clients, and facilitating short-term space planning. Once interested in booking, assisting with the client onboarding process, collecting deposits, issuing challenges, working with Studio Services to set up offices. Working with the business team to close the job out at production wrap. Keeping Salesforce database up-to-date and tracking projects as they move from inquiry to job win or loss.
  • Providing support for all publicity teams, including production, corporate, and third party. Support can include reviewing insurance forms, equipment lists, planned activity, hiring security officers, and assisting with the management of logistics of small production teams working around the facility. It may also include maintaining and filing publicity paperwork including COI’s, photography clearance forms, etc., and drafting paperwork such as HHAs, L&Is as needed.
  • Organizing and accompanying scouts for in person walkthroughs with location scouts, producers, directors, and production designers and preparing/sending custom plans and maps to assist in planning before booking.
  • Supporting Operations managers when production looks to work inside office space for shooting. Including but not limited to initial scout, drive on passes, logistics, shoot coordination, tech scouts, and wrap out walk.
  • Maintaining shared folders of information and filing/sorting paperwork as needed.

Qualifications & Experience…

  • Required 3+ years in film or television production, or experience at a production facility
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook programs. Must be able to learn other specific programs needed for client service
  • Previous Salesforce and Xytech MediaPulse experience a plus
  • Driver’s License necessary for on-lot excursions (via electric carts) as well as travel to other WBSO owned lots, as needed
  • Background should include experience with production life cycles, terminology, and set hierarchy
  • Experience with contracts and bidding a plus

Actual salaries will vary based on several factors, including but not limited to external market data, internal equity, location, skill set, experience, and/or performance. Base pay is just one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package for employees. Pay Range: $44,408.00 - $82,472.00 salary per year. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, short- and long-term incentives, and program-specific awards. In addition, Warner Bros. Discovery provides a variety of benefits to employees, including health insurance coverage, an employee wellness program, life and disability insurance, a retirement savings plan, paid holidays and sick time and vacation.
