Now hiring a part-time Group Facilitator
Shifts: 12pm - 5pm
8:30am - 2:00pm
What You'll Do
- Conduct group therapy, psychoeducation, and process groups designed to meet each client's challenges and needs
- Assist clients in developing healthy coping skills, positive behaviors, and recovery tools
- Collaborate consistently with clinical staff to keep track of client challenges and progress
- Escalate any significant client concerns to Clinical Director
- Maintain thorough documentation of all group sessions conducted
- Ensure all clinical assessments and individual client charting is completed
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in psychology, counseling or related field required. Master's degree preferred.
- Valid state licensure / certification necessary to practice in this role, i.e. CIT, RAC, CAC, LMSW, LCSW, PLPC, or LPC
- Substance abuse experience required
- Excellent observational, collaborative and interpersonal skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Compassionate, dignified character which models recovery principles
- Ability to set strong boundaries and maintain absolute confidentiality

With a robust yet flexible schedule of individual and group therapies and holistic arts, Avenues Extended Care is the ideal solution for those who have completed inpatient treatment yet want continued support as they transition back into real life. The skilled and compassionate staff here provide quality clinical services and medication-assisted treatment, and continuous support as clients ease back to daily living. Our fresh, beautiful facility offers ample space, as well as amenities like a fully stocked client lounge, client kitchen, and outdoor recreational areas.
