The Opportunity:
The Admissions Office is dedicated to helping future Cougs take the next step in their educational journey. Our team supports prospective and incoming students by processing undergraduate applications, evaluating admission materials, and providing exceptional service throughout the admissions process.
As a Program Coordinator for the WSU Pullman Campus in the Office of Admissions, you will serve an important role in helping students begin and continue their academic journey at Washington State University. You will review applications, transcripts, and academic records; evaluate transfer, test, and military credit; determine academic level and degree equivalencies; and provide guidance in response to a variety of academic inquiries.
With delegated authority, you will evaluate academic credentials and make admission decisions for prospective, new, current, and former undergraduate students in accordance with university policies and admission standards. You will use your analytical skills, attention to detail, and sound judgment to manage complex assignments and projects that require knowledge of university regulations, policies, procedures, and administrative processes.

This position is located on the WSU Pullman Campus in Pullman, Washington. After completing an initial training period, the selected applicant may be eligible for hybrid/remote work 2 days per week based on operational needs.
Additional Information:
This is a full-time (100% FTE), permanent position. This position is overtime eligible.
Monthly Salary: $3,738 to $4,980 | Range 41 (Steps A-M) | Successful candidates are typically hired at the beginning of the salary range and receive scheduled salary increment increases in accordance with WAC 357-28.
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110, the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate’s current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications:
High school graduation or equivalent AND two years of experience in the program specialty OR equivalent education/experience.
Two years related experience working with student records, admissions, or related experience or equivalent education/experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of the admissions process.
Demonstrated proficiency with Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Experience with WSU Student Information System.
Experience with Slate CRM.
Experience working with student records.
