SUMMARY
Under the guidance of the Financial Planning & Analysis Manager, the Senior Financial Analyst plays a pivotal role in enhancing the financial decision-making process at LCCR. This role dives deep into financial analysis, guiding the entire business by offering insights that align with LCCR's objectives. Success in this position not only signifies business growth and profitability but also reinforces LCCR's reputation as the premier casino destination for our guests and as a as a provider of quality jobs for our team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Financial Analysis and Modeling:
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models, emphasizing areas like hotel operations and casino financial reporting.
- Participate actively in short-term and long-term financial forecasting.
- Analyze historical, current, and future financial trends for comprehensive insights.
- Assess promotional program effectiveness, comparing generated revenue against costs.
Reporting and Database Management
- Produce consistent financial and statistical reports for managerial decisions.
- Create and manage databases across departments, including but not limited to finance, gaming, marketing, and staffing.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports as necessary to track significant budget deviations and special project reports as requested by management.
- Increase productivity with automated accounting applications, coordinating data requirements.
Collaboration and Support
- Collaborate with management to efficiently interpret and analyze inventory data.
- Support management with timely financial and operational results.
- Engage with managers to foster understanding and achievement of departmental goals.
- Work with management to boost efficiency and performance through improved processes.
- Serve as a vital resource for operational analysis to other departments.
Compliance and Standards
- Strictly adhere to Gaming Commission Regulations and all relevant laws.
- Assist in ensuring financial actions and reports are in line with profitability goals, budget alignments, and industry standards.
- Audit unusual transactions and budget variances to maintain adherence to expected financial behaviors.
Assistance and Special Tasks
- Assist in a range of financial analyses, including:
- Operational revenues and expenditure.
- Financial statements, scorecards, and key performance indicators.
- Revenue forecasts and expenditure projections related to the budget.
- Workforce financial modeling.
- Database queries for gaming statistics and operational performance.
- Analysis and interpretation of accounting, marketing, and operational data.
- Improve the communication and flow of financial information for informed business decisions.
- Support the data warehousing of key performance indicators and relational databases.
- Undertake special projects as designated by management.

S.I.G.E. TRIBAL - STATE COMPACT & ACCOUNTING & INTERNAL CONTROL
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for internal control and compact compliance regarding operations and ensure compliance with regulation of the Tribal Gaming Commission.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
While this role doesn't have any direct reports, it necessitates making balanced, independent decisions while adhering to the guidance provided by the manager.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or accounting is required.
- Master’s in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration is preferred.
- CMA preferred
- Three (3) or more years’ experience in financial analysis, preferably within the casino, food and beverage, or hospitality industry.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
- Ability to acquire Class III Gaming License issued from Squaxin Island Gaming Commission
