Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly qualified Consultant Pediatric Radiologist to join a leading healthcare provider in Abu Dhabi, UAE. The successful candidate will provide specialized diagnostic imaging services for infants, children, and adolescents, utilizing advanced imaging modalities to support accurate diagnosis and treatment. The role requires close collaboration with multidisciplinary pediatric teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.Key ResponsibilitiesInterpret and report pediatric diagnostic imaging studies, including X-rays, ultrasound, CT, MRI, and fluoroscopy.Perform and supervise pediatric imaging procedures while ensuring radiation safety and age-appropriate imaging protocols.Conduct image-guided diagnostic and minimally invasive procedures where applicable.Collaborate with Pediatricians, Neonatologists, Pediatric Surgeons, Oncologists, Orthopedic Surgeons, and other specialists to support clinical decision-making.Provide timely consultation on complex pediatric imaging cases.Ensure high standards of image quality, patient safety, and compliance with hospital protocols.Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, case discussions, and tumor boards.Maintain accurate and timely radiology reports and medical documentation.Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, research, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) activities.Supervise and mentor junior radiologists, residents, and radiographers where applicable.QualificationsMBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.Completion of an accredited Residency in Diagnostic Radiology.Fellowship or Subspecialty Certification in Pediatric Radiology from a recognized institution.Board Certification in Diagnostic Radiology and Pediatric Radiology.ExperienceMinimum 3–5 years of post-board experience as a Consultant Pediatric Radiologist.Extensive experience interpreting pediatric imaging across multiple modalities.Experience in tertiary care or children's hospitals is preferred.Familiarity with advanced pediatric imaging techniques and image-guided procedures is an advantage.Skills & LicenseValid DOH License/Eligibility is preferred.
