About The Role
Knight Frank is looking to hire a Portfolio Property Manager.
We are the world’s leading independent international property consultancy, headquartered in the UK, offering agency and professional advice across Commercial, Residential and Rural sectors. Established in 1896, Knight Frank now comprises a global network of over 20,000 people in 600+ Offices across 50 Territories.
Role:
Specialising in portfolio client management, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of properties across London. Your excellent communication skills will allow you to build and maintain client relationships, and you will work efficiently with your team to manage your reporting obligations. Above all, our focus is providing exceptional customer care for our landlords and tenants.
Responsibilities:
Liaising with the Knight Frank Team and appropriate office to ensure all new properties are ready for move-in by overseeing handovers, visual inspections and ensuring any snagging is documented, reported to developers, and chased to completion.
Walking through property/block with developer/building manager to understand systems and controls, and update client/tenant/Aspasia/Residential Asset Management team(s) as appropriate.
Ensuring all overseas landlords queries are resolved in a timely manner.
Developing, nurturing, and maintaining excellent relationships with developers.
Pre and post tenancy works.
Routine and emergency maintenance during tenancies.
Management of health and safety where applicable.
Bi-yearly visits of each property, following up on any works or requirements that are raised in a timely manner.
Overseeing the scheduling of check-out appointments when due and managing disbursement of deposits and dilapidations claims.
Timely payment of all relevant invoices and obtaining of funds from clients where necessary.
Involvement in various block/ facilities management responsibilities.
Client meetings.
General administrative & KPI responsibilities.
Compiling reports following a property visit on compliance recommendations.
Property Management input for monthly/ quarterly portfolio client reports.
Annual client budgeting reports.
Key Experience Required:
At least 2 years’ experience in a similar role
Experience of excellent client management
Basic knowledge of heating and hot water systems, plumbing and electrical
Up-to-date knowledge of legislation changes
