JOB SUMMARY
The housekeeper executes and oversees all housekeeping operations across the entire campus. They are responsible for maintaining healthy, clean, and sanitized housing/restroom facilities for campers, staff, and guests. The Housekeeper is responsible for all cleaning duties, conducting routine audits, and maintaining adequate inventory levels of all supplies and equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure housekeeping services are executed to the highest standards of quality, cleanliness, and guest experience
Implement high quality cleaning and sanitation across the entire Woodward campus
Respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments
Identify and report preventative, or other, maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms
Upkeep camper cabins and guest lodging areas
Properly store chemicals, solvents, and flammable materials
Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards
Execute routine and intermittent cleaning and sanitation for all restrooms and housing facilities
Provide housekeeping duties including changing sheets, changing, and arranging towels, restocking toilet supplies, vacuuming, dusting, and rearranging guest lodging areas
Assist in Laundry facilities with housing laundry and camper laundry
Clean, disinfect and store all equipment at the end of the shift
Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines (e.g., to identify defects)
Welcome and acknowledge all guests; anticipate and address guests' service needs; assist individuals with disabilities; thank guests with genuine appreciation
Assist in maintaining an organized and safe and clean environment for guests and staff
Assist in maintaining Woodward safety logs, operational sheets, schedules, and incident logs
Lead by example to guests and co-workers, creating positive and inspiring environment
Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional
Work in a team environment
Understand Woodward's policy on work shifts, guest possessions, and privacy issues
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures
Other duties as assigned
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
+/- 300-600 Campers (7-17 years old) per week

Comfortability in interacting with kids aged 7-17, as well as adults and families
Ability to collaborate well across functions and departments, to work as part of a team
Ability to project manage and prioritize multiple tasks at the same time

Employment in this position is contingent upon successful completion of all pre-hire background checks, including criminal history clearance through the Pennsylvania State Police (PATCH), child abuse clearance through the Department of Public Welfare, Motor Vehicle Record if required by position and federal background screening via FBI fingerprinting
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in housekeeping, hotel, or cleaning operations preferred
High school degree or equivalent preferred
Experience working in a camp environment preferred

Must have or be able to obtain the following prior to starting work:

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Physical Capabilities: bend, twist, push, pull, stand, lift 50 lbs.
Must be comfortable working in an outdoor and indoor all-season environment.
Adhere to all workplace safety practices, expectations, and guidelines.
