Finance at AVEVA
Our team of almost 500 Finance professionals are central to AVEVA’s £1bn+ business. We cover everything from procurement and FP&A to sales forecasting and internal risk management, and we’re playing a leading role in our company’s transition to a subscription-based business model.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Lead all direct and indirect tax compliance activities in Mexico.
• Prepare and/or coordinate monthly and annual tax filings, including Corporate
Income Tax (CIT), VAT, and other statutory tax obligations.
• Manage relationships with external advisors, auditors, and tax authorities (SAT).
• Support tax audits, inquiries, and ongoing tax assessments.
• Review tax provisions and support statutory and group reporting requirements.
• Partner with Finance, Legal, and Commercial teams on tax matters related to
contracts, invoicing, and business operations.
• Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their potential impact on the
business.
• Ensure compliance with AVEVA tax policies and internal control requirements.
Essential Requirements:
• 8+ years of tax experience, preferably within multinational organizations.
• Strong knowledge of Mexican Corporate Income Tax, VAT, payroll taxes, and tax
compliance requirements.
• Proven experience managing tax audits and working with external advisors.
• Hands-on experience using and managing the platforms of SAT, IMSS, Infonavit,
REPSE, and the Ministry of Economy (Secretaría de Economía).
Familiarity with employer compliance obligations, REPSE requirements, and
statutory filings before Mexican authorities.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with regional and global stakeholders.
