Position Overview



We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate/Assembler to join our dynamic warehouse operations team. This full-time position plays a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials, products, and inventory throughout our facility. The ideal candidate will be a versatile team player who can efficiently handle multiple responsibilities, from operating forklifts and managing inventory to assembling products and coordinating shipping operations. This position requires someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and takes pride in maintaining accuracy, safety, and efficiency in all warehouse activities.



Key Responsibilities



Forklift Operations



  • Safely operate sit-down, stand-up, and reach forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise throughout the warehouse
  • Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate forklift equipment while ensuring product integrity and safety protocols
  • Transport palletized goods to and from storage areas, production zones, and loading docks
  • Conduct daily pre-operation inspections of forklift equipment and report any maintenance issues or safety concerns immediately
  • Maintain forklift certification and comply with all OSHA safety regulations and company policies
  • Navigate warehouse aisles efficiently while maintaining awareness of pedestrian traffic and other equipment operators
  • Properly stack and store materials in designated areas to maximize space utilization and maintain organized warehouse layout


Inventory Management



  • Perform accurate cycle counts and physical inventory audits to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and barcode scanners to track inventory movements and update records in real-time
  • Receive incoming shipments, verify quantities against purchase orders, and inspect materials for damage or defects
  • Organize and maintain inventory storage areas using proper labeling, rotation methods (FIFO/LIFO), and location systems
  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate low-stock situations to supervisors to prevent production delays
  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by conducting research and coordinating with other departments
