Description
Our client, a hospital located near Waynesboro, VA, has a need for CT Techs to join their team.
They are offering a sign on bonus of $10,000 for 2 years (1/2 upfront and 1/2 after one year) and $5,000 relocation assistance on first paycheck with a 1-year commitment.
Shifts Available:
4 x 10 hr shifts on day shift (specific shift start and end times are determined based on need at time of hire)
4 x10 hr shift on weekday nights
3 x 12 hr shift on weekend day shift (this position would qualify for the Weekend Warrior program which is $10/hr)
3 x 12 hr shift on weekend nights (this position would qualify for the Weekend Warrior program which is $10/hr)
4 x 10 hr shift and 5 x 8 hr shift on evenings
This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce detailed cross-sectional images of the body. These images are used for diagnosing and monitoring a variety of medical conditions.
Individual contributors with responsibility in a clinical discipline or specialty. Typically involves diagnosing, treating, and caring for patients, and often include face-to-face interactions with patients. May also spend some time designing and implementing clinical programs, policies, and services using specialized knowledge and skills. Specialty license or certification required which is acquired through advanced education, training and/or experience. This career stream will be most commonly applied to patient care and/or scientific/laboratory technologist jobs.
Requires basic knowledge of job procedures and tools obtained through work experience and require vocational or technical education. Works under moderate supervision. Problems are typically of a routine nature but may at times require interpretation or deviation from standard procedures. Communicates information that requires some explanation or interpretation.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Education: Associate’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: None required
- Licensure: Registered Radiologic Technologist through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT R.T.) required. ARRT (CT) certification required within one year of hire. American Heart Association (AHA) Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
