Overview
Strategic Marketing works across the product lifecyle to drive company and product brand positioning and achieve business goals. The Marketing Specialist 1 supports the execution of marketing plans that drive the specialty’s business goals and the company’s brand strategy. Reports to the Manager, Product Development.
Responsibilities
- Develops and monitors timelines and operational goals for marketing projects
- Collaborates with the agency to initiate projects for marketing campaigns and content
- Understands the audience and objective of marketing projects to help identity appropriate reviewers and collaborators
- Performs desktop research on markets and competitors
- Provides support for marketing channel management, under supervision of marketing manager
- Assists marketing manager with marketing planning duties or projects, as assigned
- Identifies communication opportunities to gain feedback from sales team on marketing tools and materials
- Collaborates with digital marketing team, to analyze campaign data and provide reports to marketing managers
- Works independently with limited supervision on larger, moderately complex projects
- Uses prior experience, analysis, and a broad understanding to find solutions to general problems
- Foster and maintain a workplace culture respectful and supportive of individual differences
- Must work and interact effectively and professionally with and for others throughout various levels of the global organization
- Must maintain company values, policies and standards
- Must have effective oral and written communication skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required in marketing or business
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Experience in developing project plans and managing marketing channels
- General office environmental conditions
- Sitting for extended periods of time
- Requires close visual acuity for working with computers
- Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation
