Chevo is seeking a Project Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and analytical support for Department of Interior, Interior Business Center (IBC) Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) Services Branch. The individual in this role will assist COR Services Staff — including Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), Agreements Officer Representatives (AORs), and Financial Assistance Officer Representatives (FAORs) — in managing award files, ensuring compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, tracking deadlines, and supporting internal operational functions such as workload tracking, internal control reviews, and audit readiness. This position is a hybrid work environment, located in Lakewood, CO. Partial remote work potentially allowed. Support shall be provided during standard government business hours, Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform administrative tasks including document and records management, inbox monitoring, meeting support, report consolidation, and administrative pre-review of performer submissions. 
  • Upload and catalog award file documents; maintaining shared drives and repositories; drafting meeting minutes and maintaining agendas; tracking documentation requirements and recurring submissions; and conducting administrative completeness checks of performer reports.
  • Maintain trackers for performer submissions, milestones, deliverables, invoices, and other requirements, including maintaining calendars and deadline trackers, sending reminders to COR Services Staff for required actions, monitoring Teams channels and inboxes for time-sensitive items, and preparing summary reports of upcoming, completed, and overdue items. Monitor COR Services inboxes, and Teams channels daily, completing routine actions within one business day.
  • Issue deadline and deliverable reminders at least five business days before due dates and escalate urgent matters to COR Services leadership within two business hours.

Requirements

    

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in administrative or program support.
  • Experience in document management and tracking systems, and familiarity with federal acquisition/assistance processes (preferred).
  • Willingness to receive a National Agency Check with Written Inquiries (NACI) security background check, in accordance with Homeland Security Presidential Directive-12 (HSPD-12).

  • Previous DOI experience

SALARY RANGE: $60K - $70K (subject to change)
