Description
Vermilion Energy Netherlands B.V. is the second-largest onshore gas producer in the Netherlands and the Dutch operating subsidiary of Vermilion Energy Inc., a publicly traded oil and gas production company listed on the New York Stock Exchange. This internship provides the opportunity to experience the full-cycle finance function of the Dutch subsidiary and contribute directly to the finance team's success.
As a Finance Intern based in our Harlingen office, you will gain hands-on experience across accounts payable, treasury, financial reporting, and month-end close activities while working alongside experienced finance professionals. You will be actively involved in real business processes, supporting vendor invoice processing, payment preparation, cash management activities, SAP transaction processing, and financial analysis that helps drive our organization forward.
We are looking for a motivated and curious finance student who is eager to learn, challenge existing processes, and make a meaningful contribution. In addition to gaining broad exposure to the finance function, you will have the opportunity to complete a practical thesis or project focused on areas such as process optimization, cash flow forecasting, account reconciliation improvements, automation opportunities, or our upcoming SAP upgrade project.
