We are growing, and we are looking for Senior C++ Developer to complete our team! Our current opportunity is available in Makati City.
As a Senior C++ Developer, you will:
Build best in class software solutions to drive our products, including prototyping, building, and testing new functionality.
Maintain and ensuring high quality software, with accountability for production reliability and usage.
Designing, coding, unit testing and integrating new features and functionality as defined by the PO and team.
Contribute creative problem solving that bring software designs to life.
Apply agile principles and methodology within the squad.
Contribute the development of automated test harnesses as necessary to ensure delivery of high-quality code.
Updating progress daily through the tracking tool (Jira) or Kanban board.
Completing any of the documentation required e.g. deployment, maintenance, support and business needs.
You will bring and continuously build upon the following skills:
Apply organizational and problem-solving abilities that enable you to manage through creative abrasion.
Leverage strong verbal and written communication with the ability to effectively articulate and communicate technical vision, possibilities, and outcomes.
Collaborate with product managers, software engineers, and operations engineers to uncover pain points and opportunities to deliver new business value through software.
Driving the participation in ideation and brainstorming sessions to devise creative and disruptive digital solutions. We need and value fresh ideas!
Contribute in various investigative "Spikes" in order to mitigate technical uncertainty and risk.
Be part of initiatives to develop and improve standards and methodologies.
Working closely with the Product Owner to refine the Product Backlog including providing initial estimates and actively participating with the weekly Look Ahead meetings.
Required Qualifications:
Core C++ Development
8+ years of professional software development experience using C++.
Strong knowledge of modern C++ standards (C++11/14/17/20) and legacy C++ codebases.
Expert understanding of:
Object-Oriented Programming (OOP)
Design Patterns
Memory management
Multi-threading and concurrency
Template programming
STL and Boost libraries
Experience developing high-performance, scalable, and maintainable applications.
COM/COM+ Development
Extensive hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining COM and COM+ applications.
Strong understanding of:
COM architecture and lifecycle
COM interfaces (IUnknown, IDispatch)
Reference counting and memory management
Apartment threading models (STA/MTA)
COM registration and deployment
Type libraries (TLB)
Marshaling and proxy/stub architecture
COM+ Services and component configuration
Experience troubleshooting complex COM registration, activation, and interoperability issues.
Windows Development
Deep expertise in Windows application development.
Strong knowledge of:
Win32 API
ATL (Active Template Library)
MFC (Microsoft Foundation Classes)
Windows Services
DLL development
Registry management
Windows Security and User Permissions
Experience debugging native Windows applications using Visual Studio and WinDbg.
System Integration
Experience integrating COM/COM+ components with:
.NET applications
Web services
Database systems
Third-party components
Familiarity with COM Interop and migration strategies from COM to .NET technologies.
Database & Enterprise Technologies
Strong SQL development skills.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and stored procedures.
Understanding of transactional processing and distributed transactions.
Experience working with enterprise-scale client-server applications.
Software Engineering Practices
Strong understanding of:
Software architecture and design principles
SDLC methodologies (Agile/Scrum)
Code reviews and mentoring
