Job Type: Full Time, Contract
Compensation: Up to $26/hour
About the Company:
Our client is a real estate development company based in downtown Toronto. They assist clients with both residential and commercial renovation and restoration projects.
They are currently seeking to add a General Labour to their dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare job sites

Utilize hand and power tools for construction tasks

Assist in demolition work
- Assist with installing drywall and tiling
- Assist with minor patch work
- Perform various carpentry tasks
- Assist with commercial painting tasks
- Changing outlets and switches
- Install household appliances including dishwashers, washers and dryers
- Assist with minor plumbing tasks including unplugging kitchen sinks
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Must possess valid WHMIS and Working at Heights certificates

Must possess the ability to reliably commute to the jobsite
- Prior experience in operating a scissor lift is considered to be beneficial
- Must possess prior experience working in a construction environment

Ability to work independently with little to no supervision
- Must be physically fit and able to lift objects up to 80lbs
