Sensori Group is a Sisk Company that specialises in end-to-end project management, overseeing all phases of building development from design to construction, MEP systems integration, fit outs and facilities management. We ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and with a focus on sustainability.

Our expertise spans multiple industries, including commercial, data centres, healthcare, and manufacturing, providing tailored solutions that prioritize efficiency, safety, and quality. With a strong focus on MEP systems and facilities management, Sensori Group offers innovative, cost-effective solutions backed by a skilled, responsive team.

Sensori is a fast-growing developer and operator focused on delivering high-quality, safe, and commercially successful construction projects. We value practical problem-solving, strong collaboration between design and delivery teams, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Sensori is seeking an experienced Project Director to lead the delivery of large, fully integrated MEP projects across Europe. As Project Director, you will own project strategy, safety, quality, schedule and budget from pre-construction through handover. You will set the vision for the project team, drive adherence to Sensori procedures and EHS standards, and act as the primary interface with the client, consultants and major subcontractors to ensure safe, on-time, on-budget delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Direct pre-construction, planning and execution for complex MEP builds; define targets, processes and performance expectations for the project team
  • Own schedule, cost and scope control; review weekly progress updates and lookaheads with the project planner; implement corrective strategies to keep milestones on track
  • Use project lookaheads to drive the project; coordinate with the various project teams to ensure dates can be achieved
  • Review design for constructability and value engineering; ensure engineering deliverables, Material Take Offs and procurement plans align with programme and budget; validate subcontractor pricing and quality outputs
  • Plan procurement and ensure engineering is developed to meet deadlines

Commercial Ownership

  • Own the project's commercial performance and profitability, including P&L accountability, contract negotiation and management, revenue forecasting and margin protection, commercial risk identification and mitigation, change-control governance, and stewardship of client commercial relationships and commercial reporting

Meetings & Reporting

  • Schedule and chair meetings with your team, the Design team and the Client; follow up and ensure timely close-out of outstanding items
  • Lead morning whiteboard and evening schedule review meetings
  • Issue the weekly project report, highlighting risks, opportunities and progress against plan
  • Periodic attendance at planned meetings, toolbox talks (TBT), senior leadership team (SLT) and daily activity briefings (DABS)

Safety, Quality & Audit

  • Champion Sensori's QEHS approach; chair and actively contribute to EHS and QA meetings
  • Implement the project audit plan; review weekly project audits and address open items with your team
  • Discuss audit findings and trends with your Construction Manager, your team and BU Leads; ensure findings are clearly communicated to all stakeholders and drive closure of all open items
  • Ensure EHS alerts are communicated effectively; engage in associated campaigns (TBT, stand-downs, demonstrations) and ensure strong workforce participation
  • Ensure Sensori procedures are in place and adhered to on your project
  • Lead safety walks, site audits and subcontractor meetings; ensure a functional, compliant site is established and maintained

Client Management

  • Act as primary client liaison; attend client meetings and push a strong QEHS approach
  • Present project reports highlighting positives and negatives; identify improvement opportunities and propose or negotiate changes to client approach where required
  • Team Management & Training
  • Build, empower and hold accountable the core project team; guide and assist your project team, aligning expectations with project requirements
  • Empower your Construction Manager to set up a functional site
  • Set clear expectations and track performance against KPIs
  • Make training available to your team and subcontractors; set training standards for Sensori and subcontractor staff
  • Ensure you and your team have fully reviewed and understand the project specifications and documentation
  • All other duties associated with this role

Experience

  • Engineering degree or recognized trade qualification
  • Minimum 10 years' experience managing large construction projects, with significant MEP responsibility; proven track record delivering projects in the €70M–€180M range or similar complexity
  • Thorough understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems, with strong familiarity with civil, structural and architectural packages/interfaces
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams, set expectations, delegate effectively and drive performance against KPIs
  • Strong experience in procurement planning, cost control, subcontractor management and schedule management
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills; strong written and verbal communication; competent with project management and reporting tools
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Flexibility in working patterns and willingness to travel between sites as required

  • Strong team-working skills
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Competencies and Behaviours
  • Visible, proactive leadership on EHS and quality
  • Makes timely decisions that balance technical, schedule and commercial outcomes
  • Builds trust with clients, consultants and subcontractors while protecting Sensori standards
