Description

In this position...

As the Project Manager, Supplier Collaboration & Integrations, you will lead supplier-facing technology and integration work as part of the Ford Energy team implementing SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud. You will drive the implementation of supplier capabilities in SAP SCC, including the supplier portal, label creation, and EDI integration, while coordinating SAP BTP integrations with third parties such as logistics providers and customs brokers.

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role that connects business requirements, supplier readiness, technical delivery, and operational execution. You will work with procurement, supply chain, manufacturing, IT, suppliers, and external partners to turn requirements into practical plans, manage dependencies and risks, and support a successful transition to new ways of working.

What you'll do...

Key Responsibilities

1\. Supplier Collaboration & Onboarding:

  • Lead the supplier onboarding workstream for SAP SCC, helping suppliers connect to Ford Energy’s processes and systems.
  • Drive supplier onboarding: Manage onboarding plans, supplier readiness, communications, and issue resolution for suppliers participating in SAP SCC.
  • Coordinate portal capabilities: Support delivery of supplier portal processes and ensure requirements are understood by business and technical teams.
  • Manage label creation: Coordinate requirements, testing, and implementation for supplier label creation.
  • Coordinate EDI integration: Drive planning and delivery of supplier EDI connections, including partner coordination, testing, and issue resolution.
  • Support supplier readiness: Identify training, process, and support needs to help suppliers prepare for go-live.

2\. SAP BTP & Third-Party Integrations:

  • Coordinate integration initiatives connecting SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and SAP SCC with third-party partners.
  • Manage integration delivery: Coordinate SAP BTP integrations with logistics providers, customs brokers, and other third parties.
  • Align requirements: Bring business, architecture, SAP, integration, and partner teams together to define scope, data flows, and responsibilities.
  • Track dependencies: Manage integration milestones, partner readiness, environments, and testing dependencies.
  • Drive testing and resolution: Coordinate end-to-end testing, defect triage, and issue resolution across internal and external teams.
  • Support cutover: Help plan deployment, operational handoffs, and post-go-live support for supplier and partner integrations.

3\. Project Delivery & Governance:

  • Maintain the plans and operating rhythm needed to deliver supplier collaboration and integration outcomes as part of the broader SAP S/4HANA implementation.
  • Build and maintain plans: Track scope, milestones, dependencies, decisions, and success measures across workstreams.
  • Manage risks and issues: Maintain RAID visibility and escalate blockers before they threaten delivery or supplier readiness.
  • Coordinate stakeholders: Facilitate working sessions and maintain alignment across business teams, IT, suppliers, and implementation partners.
  • Report progress: Provide clear status updates and decision materials for project leadership and stakeholders.
  • Drive closure: Follow actions and decisions through to completion and maintain readiness visibility through go-live.

You'll have...

Required:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: 5+ years in project management, program coordination, systems implementation, or a similar cross-functional role within a complex organization (commensurate with GSR 6–8 level).
  • Supplier Onboarding: Demonstrated experience leading or coordinating supplier onboarding for enterprise systems or supply chain processes.
  • SAP SCC Experience: Experience implementing, managing, or supporting SAP SCC supplier collaboration capabilities.
  • Project Delivery: Proven ability to manage plans, milestones, risks, dependencies, testing, and issues across multiple teams.
  • System Integration Expertise: Working knowledge of enterprise integrations, including EDI and SAP BTP integrations with external partners.
  • Communication & Influence: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to coordinate internal teams and external partners without direct authority.
  • Execution Discipline: Demonstrated ability to manage details, surface blockers, and drive decisions and actions to closure.

Even better, you may have...

Preferred:

  • SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud: Experience supporting an SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud implementation.
  • Supply Chain Processes: Familiarity with supplier collaboration, procurement, logistics, customs, shipping, or manufacturing processes.

  • Partner Integrations: Experience coordinating integrations with logistics providers, customs brokers, EDI providers, or other external partners.
  • SAP BTP: Experience with SAP BTP integration delivery or coordination.
  • Operational Readiness: Experience with supplier communications, training, testing, cutover, and post-launch support.
  • Manufacturing/Energy Exposure: Familiarity with manufacturing, energy, or other complex operational environments.

Key Attributes:

  • A delivery-focused individual contributor who can bring structure and momentum to complex, partner-dependent work. Comfortable coordinating across business and technical teams, engaging suppliers and third parties, and raising risks early.
