Description
Responsibilities
|
S/N |
Accountability |
What it Involves |
|
1 |
Daily Client Engagement |
Meet potential clients every working week to an agreed standard, in person wherever possible, following a weekly visit plan built from the target lists. |
|
2 |
Target lists and Account mapping |
Build and keep current the target lists for both segments. For each priority account, find out who uses, who specifies, who holds the budget and who buys — and when, including the July–June public budget cycle. |
|
3 |
Lead cultivation and qualification |
Follow up every lead systematically and qualify it against agreed criteria: a real need, a budget or route to one, the decisionmaker and the timing. Move forward only the leads that qualify, and record honestly the ones that do not. |
|
4 |
Demonstrations, site visits and events |
Arrange and attend demonstrations and site visits with flight operations. Represent organization at industry associations, chambers, conferences and sector events. |
|
5 |
Hand off to quotation and closing |
Collect the information the quotation team needs — site, scope, deliverables and timing — and hand over a complete brief. Remain the day-to-day client contact while the opportunity is quoted and closed. Refer clients who want to buy and operate their own drones to the drone and payload sales specialist. |
|
6 |
Public-sector early |
Watch the NeST e-procurement system and client procurement notices for the target accounts; flag planned procurements early, and alert the bid team to supplier registrations or pre-qualifications that are needed. |
|
7 |
CRM and market feedback |
Log every contact and next step in the CRM on the day; report activity weekly; and bring back what clients say about their needs, competitors and prices. |
