The Opportunity:

As an electrical engineer, you understand the workings behind complex systems. That knowledge is key when it comes to designing and integrating missile systems. We’re looking for an electrical engineer who can use their skills to enhance platform electronic capabilities within weapon systems.

At Booz Allen, you’ll use your engineering skills to transform Mission Systems requirements to improve electronic performance of a variety of platforms. Our team supports the Mission Systems team in working with OEMs to improve performance and integrate advanced technologies into existing platforms. That’s why we need you, an electrical engineer, well versed in electrical systems to help us design and develop future technologies within the engineering discipline.

On our team, you’ll work with existing teams to understand the current challenges and work with OEMs to develop and integrate those upgrades to improve the warfighters' competitive edge. You will assist in augmenting designs and algorithms to better system performance. You Have:

• 10+ years of experience in electrical avionics systems
• 5+ years of experience with the Systems Engineering Technical Review (SETR) process for acquisition
• Experience analyzing cost and schedule metrics for project execution
• Ability to work with a team of engineers to modify designs and improve system integrations to improve warfighter capabilities
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with modern Navy missile systems
• Experience with the Engineering Change Proposal (ECP) process
• Knowledge of contracting mechanisms and Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) reporting
• Knowledge of Naval aviation communications systems
• Ability to analyze designs and provide technical inputs to improve performance and integration ease
• Top Secret clearance
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering

Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
