Job Title
Affiliate Partnerships Executive, Europe & Middle East - FTCJob Description
So, who are we?
IG Group is a FTSE 100 fintech operating across five continents, serving over 1.4m customers and handling billions of dollars in transactions — built on scale, trust, and proof. We didn't pivot to innovation; it's how we've always operated. What that means for the people who work here is real: genuinely complex problems to solve, the technology and resources to tackle them properly, and the kind of scope that's rare in established businesses.
The bar is high — bring a curious and forward-thinking mindset and we'll give you the platform to define what comes next.
Join us at IG — the future gets built here.
Your team
Our Affiliates team is part of IG's Performance & Lifecycle Marketing function, which is responsible for acquiring new customers efficiently and at scale. Affiliates is a proven, high-return channel for us, and we're ready to take it further into new markets across Europe and the Middle East.
About this role
We're looking for an experienced Affiliate Partnerships Executive to join us on a 6-month contract and grow our affiliate channel across Europe and the Middle East.
This is a commercial, hands-on role: you'll find, win and activate the right partners in priority markets, agree terms that work for IG, and drive new customers and first trades at an efficient cost.
This role is based in our London office and reports into the Affiliate Manager. You'll work independently on your own markets and partner pipeline, with support from the wider Affiliates team, and partner closely with Marketing, Compliance, Creative, Product and Analytics. We operate in a regulated industry, so you'll make sure every partner and promotion meets our standards as you scale.
There is the possibility of this role becoming permanent if you prove the value of the channel in these markets. We're looking for someone who can hit the ground running, build momentum quickly and show clear commercial results within the contract.
What you'll do
- Build and own the affiliate growth plan for Europe and the Middle East, identifying priority markets, partner types and targets.
- Identify, recruit and onboard new affiliate partners, such as content and comparison sites, finance communities, creators and influencers, and cashback and loyalty partners.
- Negotiate and agree commercial terms in line with our CAC and payback targets.
- Manage and develop partner relationships, optimising placements, offers and creative to maximise new customers and first trades.
- Report on partner and channel performance against CAC and first trade targets, making clear recommendations on where to invest and where to stop.
- Work with Compliance to ensure all partners and promotions meet regulatory requirements, including approving partner content and monitoring activity.
- Monitor traffic quality and protect IG against fraud and poor-quality activity.
- Work with Marketing, Creative and Product to adapt assets, offers and messaging for local markets.
- Test new partner models and opportunities, and scale what works.
- Document your learnings and build clear playbooks so the channel can keep growing beyond your contract.
- Use AI to work faster, from partner research to reporting. Curiosity with AI is a must.
What success looks like
- A strong pipeline of new partners signed and live across priority markets
- Demonstrable growth in new customers and first trades from Europe and the Middle East
- Performance at or below our CAC and payback targets
- Compliant, high-quality partner activity with robust monitoring in place
- A clear playbook and a business case showing the value of making the role permanent
What You'll Need:
- Proven experience in affiliate or partnership marketing, with a track record of recruiting partners and growing the channel
- Strong commercial and negotiation skills, comfortable agreeing performance-based deals such as CPA and revenue share
- Experience managing partners through affiliate networks and tracking platforms
- A data-led approach, with the ability to analyse performance and optimise against acquisition cost
- Experience working across international markets, ideally in Europe and the Middle East, with an understanding of local market differences
- Strong stakeholder management and the ability to work independently and at pace
- Strong eye for detail, especially around compliance and partner quality
- Curiosity about AI and how it can improve how we work
Ideally you will also have
- An existing network of affiliates in finance, trading or investing
- Experience in financial services, fintech or another regulated industry
- Language skills such as German, French or Arabic, which are an advantage
- Experience with affiliate platforms such as Impact, Awin or
The perks:
- It really is more than a job. We think like a start-up, but we deliver like a FTSE 100 — so the bar is high, and we won't pretend otherwise. We work hybrid, which means three days in the office. We’ll recognise your talent and make sure that you can still have a life – at work, and outside of it. Networks, committees, awards, sports and social clubs, mentorships, volunteering opportunities, extra time off… the list goes on.
