This position is responsible for a variety of financial procedures including A/P and A/R, data entry, and customer service for our public radio donors, and general office duties. All work is performed on-site at DANCE 89.5 radio, located at Nathan Hale High School in North Seattle where students are an integral part of what we do every day.
30%Accounting Duties:
- Processes bank deposits and credit card charges in a timely fashion.
- Follows-up on discrepancies or inquiries.
- Reconciles bank statement.
- Maintains KNHC accounts.
- Reconciles KNHC accounts with SAP and provides reports to General Manager.
- Provides monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports to General Manager.
- Reconciles KNHC records with SAP and Quickbooks.
- Work with General Manager to prepare and track the station’s annual budget, ensuring alignment with organizational goals

General Office Duties:
- Answers incoming telephone calls to screen & transfer calls, responding to inquiries and/or taking messages.
- Orders and maintains office and mailing supplies.
- Processes requisitions as required for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
- Processes annual Open Purchase Orders and associated invoices.
- Processes annual Personal Service Contracts and associated invoices.
- As KNHC Records Coordinator, organizes and manage all files.
- Sort and deliver all mail to staff.

Corporate Support Duties:
- Enters data in the corporate support software system including customer information and payments received
- Produces and sends monthly invoices and statements
- Coordinates with broadcast traffic director as needed.
- Tracks corporate support income received and assists with collections efforts.
- Provides support for the Corporate Sponsorship Sales Manager.
Individual Giving Support Duties:
- Performs financial data entry to Membership database.
- Communicates with donors for a variety of reasons by phone and email.
- Secures invoicing, billing, and transfer information from online database regarding credit/debit card contributions.
- Confirms company matching gift requests.
- Assists with the thank-you gift fulfillment process.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION:
A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
Five (5) years of experience with accounting and data systems and processes; High school diploma or GED equivalent and two (2) years of college or business school which includes accounting course work; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Any equivalent combination of education, experience and training that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the work will be considered.
DESIRED CERTIFICATIONS & LICENSES:
Marketron certified and Valid Washington State driver's license
CONTINUING EDUCATION/TRAINING:
Training in Marketron and Allegiance CRM
CLEARANCES:
Criminal Justice fingerprinting and background check.
