Description
The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support to facilitate the effective and efficient operation of the Compliance and Risk Management department. This position serves as an organizational resource, supporting the department’s administrative processes and helping maintain accurate, timely, and confidential information in a highly regulated healthcare environment. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, discretion, and the ability to effectively manage competing priorities while providing professional support to department leadership and staff.
Schedule: This is a temporary, full-time, on-site position requiring 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with periodic Saturday hours.

Compensation: $26.40 - $32.65 per hour, depending on experience. The salary includes differential pay in lieu of benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates day-to-day administrative functions.
- Answering and documenting all calls received by the department daily.
- Logging and distributing all internal and external grievances received by the department daily.
- Logging all event reports received by the department, including recording all resolutions and any action items.
- Assisting the with committee meetings support, including agenda distribution, presentation drafting, recording meeting minutes and additional support when needed.
- Coordinating policy distribution to operational owners and revision tracking.
- Administrative support during compliance-related investigations, including confidential note-taking and maintenance of compliance and risk management intranet resources.
- Provides administrative support to Human Resources with the organization, maintenance, and management of electronic personnel files, ensuring records are accurate, current, secure, and maintained in accordance with organizational policies and confidentiality requirements.
- Performs all duties in accordance with TVHC's Service Excellence Standards.
- Assumes other duties, including special projects, as assigned, or needed.

Requirements
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in an administrative support capacity is required, with preference for experience working in a health care setting or field, including health care compliance and/or human resources.
- High school diploma or GED is required; college degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred.
Qualifications:
- Experience, knowledge and understanding of operational standards relevant to a Federally Qualified Health Care (FQHC) setting highly preferred.
- Capacity to understand and respect highly regulated requirements for confidentiality at all times is required.
- Attention to detail, respect for regulatory and operations deadlines, and the capacity to work in a fast paced environment with competing priorities is required.
- Must be able to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, are highly preferred.
- Ability to work well with all levels of a diverse work force is highly preferred.
- Must be proficient with all modules of Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, TEAMS, etc).
