The DCX IT Logistics Planning Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and optimizing IT equipment logistics operations to ensure efficient movement, delivery, and deployment of IT assets across DCX locations and team members.


This role focuses on logistics planning, shipment coordination, inventory movement visibility, courier management, and operational reporting to support IT hardware deployment, refresh programs, replacements, onboarding, offboarding, and other IT asset initiatives.


The position will work closely with IT Asset, Procurement, Operations, Finance, suppliers, and courier partners to ensure timely and cost-effective logistics execution.


REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

  • Logistics Planning & Coordination – Plans and coordinates IT equipment shipments for timely, cost-effective delivery.
  • Attention to Detail – Keeps shipment records, asset movement documentation, and tracking updates accurate.
  • Communication Skills – Communicates clearly with couriers, suppliers, and internal teams, and escalates delays promptly.
  • Problem Solving & Analysis – Uses logistics data and KPIs to spot issues early and recommend improvements.
  • IT Asset & Inventory Knowledge – Understands IT hardware deployment, asset tracking tools, and Excel reporting.


WHAT YOU WILL DO


Logistics Planning & Operations Management

  • Develop and maintain logistics plans for IT equipment deployment, refresh, replacement, transfer, and recovery activities.
  • Coordinate shipment schedules and ensure timely delivery of IT equipment to end users and business locations.
  • Monitor shipment progress, delivery status, and operational issues to ensure successful completion.
  • Support logistics planning for large-scale IT initiatives and business requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve delivery efficiency, turnaround time, and operational processes.

Courier & Delivery Partner Management

  • Coordinate with courier partners regarding shipment arrangements, tracking, delivery concerns, and service performance.
  • Support courier evaluation and recommend improvements based on delivery performance and operational needs.
  • Monitor shipping costs and identify opportunities for consolidation and cost optimization.
  • Maintain shipment records and logistics performance reports.

IT Asset Movement & Inventory Coordination

  • Maintain visibility of IT equipment movement from storage locations to assigned users and business sites.
  • Coordinate with IT Asset Management team to ensure accurate asset transfer and movement documentation.
  • Support inventory planning by providing logistics insights on equipment availability, demand, and movement trends.
  • Assist in reconciliation of logistics-related asset records.

Reporting & Process Improvement

  • Prepare logistics reports, shipment dashboards, and operational metrics.
  • Track key performance indicators such as delivery turnaround time, shipment success rate, and logistics issues.
  • Analyze logistics data and provide recommendations for process improvement.
  • Support documentation and continuous improvement of IT logistics procedures.

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with IT Asset, Procurement, Finance, Operations, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth logistics execution.
  • Provide timely updates and escalation on shipment risks, delays, and operational concerns.
  • Support business continuity requirements related to IT equipment movement and deployment.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR 

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • Experience: At least 2 years of experience in logistics coordination, supply chain operations, inventory management, or IT asset operations.
  • Language Proficiency: Strong verbal, written, and English communication skills. 
  • Working schedule: Ability to work overnight/graveyard shifts in Philippine time or within US operating hours.  
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel, reporting, and documentation.
  • Industry Specific Software/Knowledge:     
  • Experience supporting IT hardware deployment, asset management, or technology operations.
  • Experience working with courier partners, suppliers, or logistics providers.
  • Familiarity with inventory tracking systems, ticketing platforms, or asset management tools.
  • Experience in BPO or fast-paced operational environments is an advantage.

WHAT WE OFFER 

  • Salary Range: PHP 35,000 - 40,000
  • Job Type: Full-time 
  • Work Shift: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM CST (USA) 
  • Workdays: Monday through Friday (USA)
