Description

APM Terminals

At APM Terminals, a global leader in port and terminal operations, we enable global trade and drive sustainable growth. What drives us forward is a mindset of always improving — observing how work happens, identifying what creates value, and removing what gets in the way. We constantly look for smarter, simpler, and safer ways of operating. If you thrive in environments where people value learning and are committed to continuously improve daily operations, join us and be a part of our journey.

This opportunity is based with APMT Morocco Management at the Tangier Business Centre in Tangier, Morocco. As part of the Procurement team, you will provide operational, administrative, and technical support to help ensure the efficient execution of purchasing activities across terminal operations. The role combines supplier coordination, purchase order management, data administration, and stakeholder collaboration to support business continuity.

What We Can Offer

At APM Terminals, we foster a dynamic learning and training culture that empowers our employees to excel. Our commitment to improvement means every team member has the opportunity to develop their skills and advance their careers by continuously refining how we work. Experience a diverse, multinational workplace where your operational insights directly influence how we work.

  • Work in a dynamic, innovative, international, and multicultural environment where collaboration and continuous learning are encouraged.
  • Develop your professional skills in a high-performing team, with opportunities to learn through day-to-day procurement activities.
  • Contribute directly to cost-saving and process-efficiency initiatives that support operational excellence.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and internal stakeholders while supporting purchasing activities across terminal operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the end-to-end procurement process by identifying and engaging potential suppliers and managing purchase orders.
  • Monitor supplier deliveries and follow up with relevant parties to help ensure goods and services are received on time.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders so that procurement activities meet defined technical, financial, and quality requirements.
  • Contribute to cost-saving and process-efficiency initiatives within procurement operations.
  • Assist senior buyers with supplier performance evaluations and contract administration activities.
  • Maintain accurate procurement data, documentation, and records within procurement systems to support reliable day-to-day administration.
  • Provide ongoing administrative and operational support to the Procurement team as required to support business continuity and operational excellence.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Continuous improvement mindset: we are looking for someone who brings a thoughtful improvement mindset—curious about how work gets done and motivated to make meaningful, sustainable improvements over time.
  • Hold a Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, International Trade, Business Administration, or a related field. Graduates from ENCG Tangier are strongly encouraged to apply.
  • Communicate fluently in English and Spanish, both written and spoken, with excellent communication skills.
  • Bring a recent-graduate or early-career profile, with 0–1 year of professional experience.
  • Be legally authorized to work and reside in Morocco. Relocation assistance and work permit sponsorship are not available for this position.
  • Be available to join on a fixed-term contract for six months.
