Optometrist Opportunity | 4- or 5-Day Schedule | Aurora, CO

An established, multi-location practice in the Denver metro area is seeking an optometrist to join its Aurora location beginning in January. This is an excellent opportunity for an OD looking for full-scope optometry, a manageable patient schedule, strong clinical support, and the flexibility to work four or five days per week.

The practice provides comprehensive medical eye care with a strong emphasis on the pediatric population, while still treating patients of all ages. The incoming optometrist will provide comprehensive and pathology-focused eye exams, co-manage ocular disease and vision disorders, perform contact lens fittings, and counsel patients regarding their ongoing vision needs.

Doctors in this practice see approximately 15–18 patients per day, or 2–3 patients per hour, with dedicated technician and scribe support. The practice utilizes Revolution EHR, allowing the optometrist to focus primarily on patient care rather than administrative responsibilities.

Clinical Scope

• Comprehensive eye exams for patients of all ages
• Strong pediatric patient base
• Diagnosis and co-management of ocular disease and vision disorders
• Pathology-focused eye care
• Contact lens fittings
• Patient education and vision counseling
• Dedicated technician and scribe support
• Revolution EHR

Schedule

• Choice of a 4- or 5-day workweek
• Weekday schedule
• Approximately one Saturday morning per month
• 15–18 patients per day
• Position available beginning in January

Compensation & Benefits

• $150,000-$160,000 salary depending on experience level

Minimum Qualifications

• Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree
• Colorado optometry license or ability to obtain
• Strong clinical and communication skills
• Comfortable providing care to children as well as adults
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
