Purpose of the Role


The Senior Sample Room Operator plays a key role in supporting business growth and customer satisfaction by preparing and delivering product samples accurately, on time, and in full. This position is responsible for sample preparation, raw material management, shipment coordination, and maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and safety within the Sample Room. The role also supports workload coordination within the Sample Room team and collaborates closely with R&D to ensure an efficient sample process.


It is an 8-month temporary role.


Role & Responsibilities



  • Prepare product samples following approved formulas, manufacturing instructions, and established procedures.
  • Print and manage formulas, labels, and sample documentation accurately.
  • Ensure only approved raw materials within shelf life are used for sample preparation.
  • Manage and monitor inventory levels of raw materials and packaging materials within the Sample Room.
  • Organize and coordinate sample shipments to customers and other Griffith Foods locations.
  • Support other Griffith Foods sites by providing prepared products or raw materials when required.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and GMP-compliant Sample Room environment.
  • Coordinate daily workload activities for Sample Room Operators.
  • Communicate any issues or challenges promptly to the Sample Room Lead.
  • Actively support and comply with company Health & Safety standards, rules, and regulations.

Job Requirements



  • High School diploma or equivalent food-related education.
  • 1-3 years of experience in a laboratory, sample room, food production or food industry environment
  • Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish.
  • Basic digital skills, including Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and tight deadlines.
  • No food or contact allergies.

Compensation


The starting base salary is 25.000 EUR fix gross per year + Benefits.
