TITLE: Senior Production Planner
LOCATION: Onsite in Alsip, IL
COMP RANGE: $72,000 - $107,000 annually
Griffith Foods is hiring a Senior Production Planner to partner closely with Scheduling and Manufacturing to drive Production-to-Plan alignment and support effective production scheduling.

As a Senior Production Planner, your responsibilities will include:
- Monitor the daily Alsip production schedule, driving Production-to-Plan performance, coordinating actions with Manufacturing, and communicating impacts to Customer Service.
- Support daily production scheduling to meet customer requirements while balancing production capacity and raw material constraints.
- Maintain scheduling accuracy by validating production dates in ERP system against the production schedule.
- Coordinate Schedule Change Requests (SCRs) in partnership with Materials Planning and Manufacturing.
- Partner with Materials Planning to monitor raw material holds and proactively address potential impacts to the production schedule.
- Manage production orders in DAX (ERP), including firming Make-to-Order (MTO) and Assemble-to-Order (ATO) requirements.
- Monitor execution of the Finished Goods Transfer Plan from the Alsip plant to the Lithonia plant.
- Coordinate rework and reprocessing requirements, working with QS to manage formula adjustments and incorporate required batches into the production schedule.
- Participate in the Daily Manufacturing Meeting and co-lead the cross-functional Daily Planning Huddle to align priorities, address constraints, and support schedule execution.

Qualified candidates will have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or related field OR Equivalent Experience
- 3+ years of experience in Planning and Scheduling with a formal ERP System (Oracle, SAP, etc.) in a Manufacturing Environment.
- Willingness to work onsite in ALSIP, IL 5 days per week
- Candidates must currently possess unrestricted authorization to work in the United States. Work visa sponsorship is not available for this role.

- Blue Yonder or DAX experience
- A solid understanding of the Alsip Manufacturing Operations, Production Scheduling Process, GFUS Customer Commitments, & Materials Planning
This role is affiliated to the ALSIP, IL location, and candidates for this role need to reside within a commutable distance of that location and will be required to come into that location. You may be asked to travel to other locations periodically for meetings.
