EW Software Engineer - Modeling & Simulation

Responsibilities

Peraton Labs is seeking a Modeling and Simulation Developer for a position based in Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. This position will require the candidate to:

• Conduct M&S development, runs and analysis in multi-agent M&S environments. 
• Develop software in various languages and platforms.
• Communicate technical information via various forms: presentation, papers, meetings.
• Process large amounts of data into readable results for stakeholders
• Translate EW algorithms from theory into an M&S framework for test and evaluation
• Utilize principles of EW as considerations for algorithm development and optimization
• Debug algorithms and source code in a complex M&S environment

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field
• US Citizenship
• Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Experience with AFSIM or similar tools: modifying source code, creating plug-ins and set-up scenarios
• Experience using Python and/or MATLAB languages and interfacing these languages in an M&S environment

Desired Skills

• Knowledge of RF systems and concepts
• Knowledge of RF threat systems and Army conops
• Knowledge of Electronic Warfare
• Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning principles and techniques

Target Salary Range

$112,000 - $179,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual’s experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
