Description
We are partnering with an established flooring organization to identify a Territory Sales Representative for the Austin, Texas market. This is a hybrid role focused on driving sales growth and developing strong relationships with showrooms, builders, dealers, distributors, and architecture and design (A&D) firms.
The ideal candidate has a strong background in B2B sales, preferably in hardwood flooring or related design products, with the technical knowledge and consultative selling skills to support a design-focused territory.
• Build and maintain relationships with showrooms, builders, dealers, distributors, and A&D firms throughout the Austin market
• Serve as a primary point of contact for product, pricing, and specification inquiries
• Develop new business opportunities and manage the sales pipeline using CRM systems
• Conduct showroom visits, on-site presentations, and product knowledge sessions
• Maintain sample inventory and ensure customers have access to current product collections and displays
• Support product specifications by providing technical information, installation guidance, and sustainability documentation
• Collaborate with internal operations, marketing, and customer service teams to support clients from order through delivery
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and opportunities for territory growth
• Participate in trade shows, design events, and dealer promotions to strengthen market presence
• Track sales activity, pipeline progress, customer engagement, and territory performance
• 8+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in hardwood flooring or related design products
• Proven success managing a sales territory and developing long-term client relationships
• Strong understanding of engineered and solid hardwood flooring, installation methods, and finishing options
• Experience with CRM systems, sales forecasting, and pipeline management
• Background managing product samples, showroom displays, and dealer relationships
• Strong communication, presentation, and consultative selling skills
• Self-motivated, highly organized, and comfortable working independently and collaboratively
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel throughout the assigned territory
