Program Manager
Curtiss-Wright is offering an exciting position as “Program Manager” to join our Engineered Pump Division (EPD)!
As a Program Manager you will be responsible for successful project execution for Naval Pump Programs supporting US Navy submarine construction. You will be responsible for assuring on time delivery of complex pump assemblies to our key shipyard Customers. The scope of this position includes leadership of a cross functional team (i.e. Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Test, Supply Chain, and Contracts). In addition to assuring successful product build and test, the selected PM will lead new business capture and post-delivery product support.
Location: Bethlehem, PA
Salary: $113,900 - $151,800

Your Challenge
- Overall Leadership: Demonstrate exceptions ownership and accountability for total project performance. Lead Cross-Functional / IPT Teams to ensure all project commitments (cost/schedule/technical/quality) are satisfied.
- Customer Management: Act as primary interface to key shipyard Customer representatives, including development of weekly, monthly and quarterly progress reports. Lead resolution of key issues.
- Schedule Attainment: Work with Operations, Supply Chain and Planning team members to ensure successful on time delivery of product and accurate maintenance of integrated master schedule.
- Financial Performance: Develop project budget and actively monitor performance; Develop monthly financial forecast for responsible project; deliver presentation of financial performance (Sales, Cash Flow, EAC accuracy and profitability) to senior leadership
- Risk Management: Deploy effective proactive risk management processes (identification through mitigation) to assure financial and schedule performance meet commitments.
- Periodic travel to customer and supplier sites to support program execution and business development activities.
- Drive resolution of critical issues as needed.
What You Bring
- Minimum of Five (5) years of experience in Program/Project Management, leading build, test and delivery of complex electromechanical assemblies for Aerospace and/or Defense applications
- Practical experience managing and applying financial forecasting and risk management processes (EAC management, schedule management)
- Demonstrated financial acumen and excellent Customer relationship building experience
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering / business management
- Solid understanding of Government contracting requirements
- Must be a US citizen and capable of obtaining and maintaining DOD security clearance
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification is preferred
- Lean and/or Six-Sigma experience and knowledge is preferred
