Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Access Coordination in Kahului, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify badges and visitor access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, vendors, and deliveries. You will provide exceptional customer service, maintain clear communication, and help deter incidents through a visible presence. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor access points at a logistics and distribution location, verify credentials and authorized entry, and maintain visitor, contractor, and driver logs.
• Coordinate vehicle and delivery access by directing drivers to designated areas and communicating arrival information to appropriate site personnel.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
