As an Assistant Residence Manager at Anderson Center for Autism, you will play a critical role in the daily operation of one of our Individualized Residential Alternatives (IRAs). Working closely with the Senior Manager of Adult Residential Services, you'll help create a safe, supportive, and engaging home environment while providing leadership, supervision, and guidance to Direct Support Professionals. Your efforts will directly contribute to the quality of life, growth, and success of the individuals we serve.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional who enjoys balancing leadership responsibilities with direct support work. You'll have the opportunity to develop staff, oversee operations, collaborate with families, and ensure that every individual receives high-quality, person-centered services designed to help them achieve valued outcomes.
What You Will Do as an Assistant Residence Manager
- You will oversee the daily operation of an IRA while promoting a safe, clean, and nurturing home environment for the individuals we serve.
- You will supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals to ensure high-quality, person-centered service delivery and staff development.
- You will coordinate staffing schedules, monitor attendance, and help ensure appropriate staffing ratios and operational coverage.
- You will monitor quality-of-life outcomes, recreational opportunities, household needs, and family communication to support the well-being of each individual.
- You will oversee household finances, personal allowance accounts, and related documentation to ensure accuracy, accountability, and compliance.
- You will ensure accurate completion of billing documentation, service records, and program reporting requirements.
- You will support employee training, competency development, and adherence to agency policies and Standard Operating Procedures.
- You will help ensure consistent implementation of Anderson's Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS) framework and quality programming throughout the residence.

The Qualifications We Seek
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Supervisory, residential, human services, or developmental disabilities experience preferred.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to maintain agency-required certifications and training requirements.

- Maintain qualifications in all agency-required crisis intervention procedures.
- Assist with emergency response procedures and facility evacuations when necessary.
- Demonstrate professionalism, accountability, and sound judgment in all aspects of your work.
- Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance standards.

Pay Range: $24.40 - $29.85 per hour; based on experience, qualifications, and internal equity considerations.
