EXECUTIVE, INVESTOR RELATIONS & SUSTAINABILITY

The Executive, Investor Relations & Sustainability supports both functions day to day: preparing investor and ESG communications, supporting investor and stakeholder engagement, and keeping disclosure data and records accurate and audit-ready. The role also monitors market and peer reporting practice, and applies digital and AI tools to improve turnaround and quality.

Key Responsibilities

1. IR & ESG Content & Reporting

• Prepare investor presentations and quarterly results briefing materials, and draft assigned sections of the Integrated Annual Report and Sustainability Report.

• Consolidate inputs from Finance, Operations, the business units, Sustainability, and Communications into consistent, on-brand materials.

• Apply digital and AI tools to automate recurring reporting tasks and shorten turnaround.

2. Research & Market Practice Monitoring

• Monitor analyst coverage, consensus estimates, share register movements, and market news, and flag notable shifts.

• Benchmark peer disclosures on investor communications, ESG ratings, and disclosure quality, and summarise how market practice is shifting.

• Stay current on Bursa Malaysia listing requirements, the Malaysian Code on Corporate Governance, and frameworks such as GRI, IFRS S1/S2, and TCFD.

3. Data & Records Management

• Gather and validate IR and ESG data, running consistency checks before it reaches reports or filings.

• Maintain investor query logs, analyst lists, ESG trackers, and dashboards.

• Support the external assurance cycle on reported ESG data, compiling evidence and responding to assurance queries.

• Keep disclosure records version-controlled and audit-ready for Bursa and periodic reporting.

4. Stakeholder Engagement & Internal Awareness

• Put the Group in front of investors and analysts – briefing notes for calls, site visits, and workshops, and follow-ups closed out.

• Work with advisers, consultants, and teams across the Group to land engagement and reporting commitments on time.

• Take the IR and sustainability story inside the Group – internal updates and infographics, awareness sessions, training, and campaigns.

• Digital & AI Fluency – uses digital platforms and AI tools to speed up research, drafting, and reporting, with care for data accuracy and confidentiality.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Background

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Sustainability, Environmental Science or Engineering, Communications, or a related field.

Experience Requirements

• Up to 2 years' experience in investor relations, sustainability/ESG, corporate finance or accounting; fresh graduates with relevant internship or project experience are encouraged to apply.

• Familiarity with capital markets terminology, investor communication, or ESG reporting frameworks is an advantage but not essential.

• Strong skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word, and collaboration platforms such as SharePoint or Teams.

• Proficient use of AI tools for research, drafting, data summarisation, and productivity, with sound judgement on accuracy, sourcing, and confidentiality.

• Detail-oriented and organised, comfortable owning tasks under deadline, and ambitious to specialise in capital markets and sustainability.
