Think editor, not scheduler.

itison is Scotland’s go-to for great experiences, and the business has two sides:

Live events: itison creates and runs its own large-scale events. Experiences: the website, where 1.7 million members discover and buy the best local experiences, from restaurants and spas to activities and days out.

This role sits on the experiences side. With new offers landing all the time, it runs more like a newsroom than a marketing calendar. Every day there’s a new experience to discover, a partner to showcase and a reason for members to click “buy”. They need someone to run the desk.

If you love the buzz of daily content, can’t walk past a great story without filming it, and can keep a busy operation running smoothly, this might be the role for you.

The challenge

You’ll own itison’s social presence across Instagram, TikTok, Facebook and beyond, turning a constant flow of experiences into content people want to watch, share and act on. It’s a genuine blend of two skill sets.

Campaign Tasks

• Plan and deliver a high volume of daily content across multiple platforms
• Lead major social campaigns, including Summer, Christmas and Social Bite, from idea to launch
• Manage stakeholders across sales, paid media, scheduling and external creative partners
• Manage budgets and keep a busy content calendar on track
• Use data to track what’s driving engagement and sales, and shape what comes next

Creative Responsibilities

• Shoot, edit and publish content yourself, out on location with itison’s partner businesses and in the office
• Find the story in every experience and tell it in a way that makes people want to book
• Test new formats and series that keep the feeds fresh
• Grow an engaged community and run influencer, creator and ambassador programmes
• Be the face of it. You’ll be comfortable in front of camera and bring the energy that makes people follow along

What you’ll bring

• Experience running and growing social channels for a consumer brand, publisher or media business
• A track record of content that drives action
• Strong hands-on content skills with tools like CapCut and Canva
• A sharp editorial eye and a feel for what makes a great story
• Manage volume without losing quality
• Confidence on camera and a willingness to experiment
