Compensation
Starting at $16.50/hour
Responsibilities
As a Security Officer, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and secure environment by:
• Assisting with coverage on various shifts during other Security Officers' vacations, call-outs, leaves of absence, or special events
• Responding to and assisting with all emergencies
• Monitoring CCTV systems for safety and security concerns
• Performing mobile patrols throughout Willow Valley properties, with special attention to parking lots and Resident dwellings
• Conducting foot patrols to identify and address security and safety issues
• Enforcing policies and procedures, including loitering, smoking, and unauthorized removal of Willow Valley property, and contacting local authorities regarding suspicious or criminal activity
• Identifying and reporting irregularities such as fire hazards, water leaks, unlocked security doors, or maintenance concerns; performing minor first-echelon maintenance tasks when needed
• Observing arriving and departing personnel to help deter theft of company and Resident property
• Conducting visitor check-in procedures and ensuring only authorized individuals enter the property; escorting guests, contractors, and vendors as needed
• Sounding alarms or contacting police and/or fire departments in emergency situations
• Reporting Team Members observed violating company policies and procedures
• Regulating Resident, Team Member, and visitor parking
• Performing preliminary investigations of reported safety, security, and transportation issues
• Assisting with fire and safety inspections throughout Willow Valley Communities to ensure compliance with OSHA, NFPA, NEC, and DOH standards
• Performing on-the-spot safety inspections to ensure contractors and subcontractors follow Willow Valley's Safety Guidelines
• Completing Incident Reports accurately and in a timely manner
Qualifications
✅ Must possess a valid PA Driver's License and successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
✅ High school diploma or GED required; or 6-12 months of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience

🕗 Day Shift: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
