About the Role
We're looking for an experienced Practice Manager to partner with our Principal and legal team, driving operational excellence, financial performance and exceptional client service across the practice.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Migration Services practice, managing workflows, resource allocation and compliance across legal and support staff.
- Manage the financial performance of the practice, including budgeting, forecasting, billing, work in progress (WIP), debtor management and performance reporting.
- Lead and support the administrative and operational team, supporting with recruitment, onboarding, workforce planning and performance development while promoting a positive, collaborative and high-performing culture.
- Support client service operations, including onboarding, service delivery standards, client communications and the resolution of non-legal client matters.
- Identify and implement process improvements, systems and initiatives that streamline operations and improve efficiency, productivity and client outcomes.
- Contribute to strategic planning, growth initiatives and business development activities.

- Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to balance competing priorities and keep multiple workstreams moving effectively.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, combined with an analytical approach to problem solving and informed decision-making.
- Strong leadership capability with a collaborative and supportive approach.
- Commitment to continuous improvement, operational excellence, accountability and attention to detail.
Qualifications and Experience required:
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a practice management, operations management or business management role.
- Experience within a legal practice, migration firm, professional services or consulting environment preferred.
- Experience managing budgets, billing, financial reporting and team performance.
- Strong systems capability, including practice management and CRM platforms such as Migration Manager or similar.
- Tertiary qualifications in business, management, commerce or a related discipline are highly regarded.
