Technical Business Analyst – eTrading

We are looking for a Technical Business Analyst to join a high-performing electronic trading technology team supporting low-latency equities trading platforms across APAC.

In this role, you will bridge business and technology by translating requirements into technical solutions while working closely with engineering, infrastructure, exchanges, vendors, and business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and technology requirements into technical changes for low-latency trading platforms, new exchange venues, and platform enhancements.
• Coordinate technical implementations with internal teams, external vendors, stock exchanges, carriers, and clients.
• Partner with network and infrastructure teams to define architecture and connectivity solutions based on application requirements.
• Support production environments by providing third-level technical support for electronic trading platforms.
• Collaborate with regional and global teams to establish best practices and technical standards.
• Build strong relationships with business stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners across APAC.
• Participate throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design through implementation and delivery.

About the Team

You'll join a collaborative electronic trading technology team delivering low- and ultra-low latency trading solutions across multiple APAC markets. The team consists of application and infrastructure specialists working in an agile environment with end-to-end ownership of trading technology initiatives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in electronic trading, trading technology, or financial markets.
• Strong Python programming and Linux/Unix administration skills, including shell scripting.
• Hands-on experience with FIX messaging in an electronic trading environment.
• Good understanding of low-latency trading technologies, including exchange connectivity, market access, FPGA, and low-latency networking.
• Familiarity with exchange protocols such as OUCH, Arrowhead, HKEX CCCG, OCG, or similar exchange connectivity protocols.
• Strong knowledge of equities trading platforms and the end-to-end trading lifecycle.
• Experience supporting front-, middle-, and back-office trading systems.
• Experience working with stock exchanges, trading infrastructure, and market data platforms.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work across business, technology, and external partners.
