Role Overview:

Senior Business Director is a senior business leader responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of Landor's most strategic client relationships. This role combines commercial leadership, C-suite client partnership, team development, and financial accountability to drive sustainable business growth and deliver exceptional client outcomes. As a key ambassador for Landor, the Senior Business Director champions the agency's full suite of capabilities while leading new business opportunities and fostering cross-WPP collaboration.

What you’ll do 
•    Build and nurture trusted relationships with C-suite executives and key stakeholders, driving organic account growth, new business opportunities, and long-term client partnerships. 
•    Lead the development of strategic proposals, commercial solutions, and integrated brand offerings aligned with client business objectives. 
•    Own account financial performance, including revenue, profitability, forecasting, contract negotiations, pricing, budget management, and commercial risk mitigation. 
•    Manage multidisciplinary teams by driving collaboration, resource planning, coaching, and operational excellence to ensure high-quality project delivery. 
•    Influence senior client stakeholders through strategic consulting and cross-functional collaboration, delivering integrated, business-driven brand solutions while maintaining strong project governance and financial discipline. 


What you’ll need
•    Extensive experience in client leadership within a brand consultancy, business consultancy, or integrated agency environment.
•    Proven success managing and influencing C-suite stakeholders and complex client organizations.
•    Strong commercial acumen with a demonstrated track record of growing strategic accounts and winning new business.
•    Expertise in leading global pitches, negotiations, and large-scale client engagements.
•    Strategic thinker with the ability to connect business challenges to creative and brand-led solutions.
•    Exceptional leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills.
•    Strong financial and commercial management capabilities, including forecasting, profitability, and contract negotiations.
•    Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills.
•    Collaborative mindset with the ability to build partnerships across diverse teams and the broader WPP network.
•    Passion for innovation, continuous learning, and delivering transformational client impact.
