In this role, you will:
Originates restructuring opportunities, including exit financings for existing or new clients.
Networks with sponsors, advisory firms, and institutional lenders to find new opportunities outside of existing banking exposures
Liaises with the Credit Resolutions Group (CRG), Credit Portfolio Trading & Optimization (CPTO) and distressed trading desk to effectively communicate regarding leveraged finance related exposures ahead of potential prolonged bankruptcy/restructuring events to maximize outcomes for WF alongside : in conjunction with CRG
At CRG’s request, helps CRG with negotiations for bank when applicable on LME transactions in distressed exposures – sometimes a contentious negotiation to maximize recovery value as deals are first negotiated with institutional holders with different motives NTD: CRG’s core function is to negotiate workout outcomes on WF exposure, including with distressed funds inside and outside bank groups.
Stays up to date on latest sponsor LBO technology and is maintains LME expertise and proactively works with CRG and distressed on solutions for clients which protect bank capital
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of Investment Banking experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Job Expectations:
Registration for Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) exam must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 79 must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted
This position is subject to FINRA Background Screening Requirements, including successful completion and clearing of a background check. Internal transfers are subject to comply with 17 CRF 240.17f-2 of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and FINRA Bylaws, Article III, Section 3, which states that Associated Persons should not be subject to statutory disqualification. Successful candidates must also meet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screening and are required to report certain incidents.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.
