Our client, a luxury resort in the Maldives, is seeking an exceptional Assistant Director of Food & Beverage to help lead world‑class dining operations across multiple signature venues. This role supports the F&B Director in driving service excellence, elevating culinary experiences, and ensuring every outlet delivers the refined, intuitive hospitality expected in an ultra‑luxury island setting.

You’ll oversee daily operations, guide and inspire diverse teams, uphold premium service standards, and contribute to strategic planning that enhances guest satisfaction and revenue performance. Ideal for a dynamic, detail‑driven F&B professional with strong leadership capability and a passion for crafting unforgettable dining moments in one of the world’s most iconic destinations.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• In conjunction with the Director of F&B, manage all Food and Beverage Outlet operations
• Maintain exceptional levels of customer service
• Ensure compliance of brand standards
• Recruit, manage, train and develop the Food and Beverage team
• Manage guest queries in a timely and efficient manner
• Work within budgeted guidelines in relation to Food, Liquor Costs and Payroll
• Set departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, budgets, and policies and procedures
• Develop menus with other members of Food and Beverage team
• Incentivize team members to maximize sales and revenue
• Evaluate guest satisfaction levels with a focus on continuous improvement

REQUIREMENTS:

• Degree in relevant area, ideally bachelor's degree in hospitality management
• Luxury resort experience
• Passion for delivering exceptional levels of guest service
• Extensive Food & Beverage Experience within a luxury setting.
• Excellent communication skills, effective management, leadership, organizational and communications skills
• Ability to assemble, analyze, understand integrated spread sheets and complex technical information.
• Strong presentations skills
• Prioritization skills necessary to meet deadlines
