Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical failures and implement timely repairs.
- Monitor machine performance and recommend proactive maintenance solutions
- Oversee the maintenance of forklifts, welding machines, conveyors, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, chiller cooling systems, and compressed air systems
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, work orders, and equipment history
- Assist in plant layout modifications and production line reconfigurations.
- Develop troubleshooting procedures and ensure a quick response to breakdowns.
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM) programs to minimize downtime
- Manage spare parts inventory to ensure the availability of critical components.
- Collaborate with procurement and suppliers to source high-quality parts.
- Optimize maintenance costs while ensuring uninterrupted operations.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to OSHA safety standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement corrective actions.
- Train maintenance staff on safety protocols and equipment handling procedures.
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and implement Kaizen, 5S, and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) initiatives.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to improve equipment efficiency and reduce waste.
- Drive root cause analysis (RCA) and corrective action plans for recurring failures.
- Utilize AutoCAD and SolidWorks to create and modify machine layouts, spare part drawings, and technical schematics.
- Can read and understand pneumatic control diagrams and make required modifications if needed
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (Power Mechanics preferred).
- 3-7 years of experience in maintenance within an automotive CKD manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for technical drawings and design modifications.
- Strong knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM) and Predictive Maintenance (PdM) techniques.
- Knowledge of maintenance management systems (CMMS) and SOS (Service Optimization System).
- Strong leadership and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities.
