This position reports to:
Trade & Transportation Leader__
Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for local import/export operations. Each day, you will supervise performance of customs brokers. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring smooth execution of operational trade and customs activities within a local unit, including relevant documentation and compliance with regulations.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Apodaca, Nuevo Leon.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Acting as point of contact for customs brokers in case of clarification needs (e.g., regarding valuation or classification of products).
Auditing customs brokers regarding the correctness of customs entries, invoicing, and archiving.
Managing the necessary documentation and online forms for the efficient, cost-effective, and lawful execution of all import/export activities.
Maintaining and sharing with colleagues, as appropriate, personal knowledge of all relevant import/export laws and procedures, tariffs, duties, licenses, and restrictions.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Commerce, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
2+ years of experience in logistics and transportation roles.
Knowledge in Virtual Operations & 3PL Operations.
Experience in import/export.
Experience with the IMMEX program.
Experience with customs operations (regularizations and changes of customs regime).
Experience with SAP is a plus.
Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for logistics data analysis and reporting.
Intermediate English.
