Position Title:
Senior Accountant (in charge of Account Receivables)
Start Date:
ASAP
Position Purpose:
The Senior Accountant (in charge of Account Receivables) is responsible for managing the full invoicing and collections cycle, ensuring accuracy of customer accounts, and maintaining timely, reconciled financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and issue accurate customer invoices in a timely manner.
- Verify billing details, including pricing, payment terms, and account information, prior to issuance.
- Manage recurring billing schedules and maintain up-to-date customer records.
- Record and apply customer payments received via cheque, bank transfer, and other payment methods. Monitor and reconcile daily payment batches against accounting records.
- Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies with customers in a professional and timely manner.
- Generate and maintain accounts receivable aging reports, tracking payment status and collection progress.
- Provide weekly accounts receivable updates to the Management and Sales teams.
- Perform monthly reconciliations between the customer ledger, bank statements, and the accounts receivable control listing.
Experience / Knowledge Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
- Knowledge of tax regulations is preferable.
- Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in the accounting field.
- Strong command of English with excellent communication skills.
- Positive, detail-oriented attitude with a high degree of accuracy.
- Demonstrates the highest level of integrity and professional ethics.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly Excel and QuickBooks.
Salary:
700 to 800 USD

Working Hours:
Working Days: Monday - Friday (8:00am to 5:30pm)
