About the role
As an Integrated Media Lead at Haleon, you will be a pivotal first-level leader responsible for shaping and implementing our media and digital marketing strategy within your assigned region or category. You will lead a team of media professionals, ensure operational excellence and drive key effectiveness tenets to achieve business and brand equity goals. This role demands an inspirational leader who can balance long- and short-term objectives, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and champion the media and digital agenda. You will develop departmental plans, provide strategic input into the direction of the media discipline, and ensure functional goals are met.
You will sit within Marketing Excellence’s Media team in LATAM and report to the VP of Global Integrated Media Connections. You will lead a team of 5 direct reports.
Role Responsibilities
Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of media professionals, fostering a culture of empowerment, creativity, and continuous learning
Strategic implementation: Drive the implementation of the media and digital marketing strategy, building upon global guidelines to deliver equity and revenue growth
Partnership oversight: Oversee media agency partnerships, managing direction, resources, scope, fees, and performance to maximise ROI on media investments
Continuous learning: Develop and implement a learning agenda, focused on testing marketing theories, sharing best practices, and keeping the organisation updated on the evolving media and digital environment
Stakeholder engagement: Collaborate effectively with senior leaders within Marketing Excellence, and with Finance, Procurement, and CBIA to align variable objectives with Haleon's business and brand equity goals
Innovation & creativity: Champion a creativity agenda, encouraging teams to implement innovative and impactful campaigns
Compliance: Ensure compliance with centrally generated best practice media planning and buying guidelines, KPIs, and standardised reporting, adapting them for effective local implementation
Why you?
Essential skills
Significant experience in media and digital management in companies with sizable investments or brand leaders with solid knowledge of media and digital
Experience at either a media agency or as a media client
Proficient P&L and financial understanding
Demonstrable experience in digital marketing, brand building, and communications
Full understanding of Paid, Owned, earned aspects of Digital marketing and how it fits into an overall, integrated marketing mix
In-depth understanding of media markets (cost dynamics, landscape, usage trends) and established relationships with local media owners
Experience in both media planning and buying, with a strong digital foundation and ability to adapt to the evolving media landscape
