Property Manager - Compliance Specialist - HUD Project Based Sect. 8

About Us

Diamond Management Group is a privately owned property management company. We are seeking an experienced
HUD Compliance Specialist to oversee compliance for our portfolio of four Project-Based Section 8 (PBRA) communities.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced compliance professional who can work independently, maintain regulatory compliance, and support property operations.

Responsibilities

• Process Annual and Interim Recertifications.
• Maintain compliance with HUD Handbook 4350.3.
• Complete and review Enterprise Income Verification (EIV).
• Process and monitor TRACS submissions.
• Ensure compliance with HOTMA requirements.
• Review tenant eligibility and income calculations.
• Prepare files for Management & Occupancy Reviews (MORs).
• Conduct file audits and correct compliance deficiencies.
• Interpret HUD regulations and provide guidance to onsite staff.
• Maintain accurate resident files and compliance documentation.
• Work closely with management to ensure all HUD requirements are met.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of Project-Based Section 8 (PBRA) compliance experience.
• Extensive knowledge of HUD Handbook 4350.3.
• Hands-on experience with:
  • Annual & Interim Recertifications
  • EIV
  • TRACS
  • HOTMA
  • HUD file reviews
  • Management & Occupancy Reviews (MORs)
• Experience using Yardi (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Fair Housing regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Preferred Certifications

• Certified Occupancy Specialist (COS)
• Certified Professional of Occupancy (CPO)
• Housing Credit Certified Professional (HCCP)
• Other HUD or affordable housing certifications are a plus.
