Location:  Hybrid (2 days WFH/ 3 days in office)

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Demonstrates competency in the performance of job-related skills appropriate to his/her customer populations and departmental services.
• Experience with balance sheet reconciliations for many accounts for multiple companies.
• Understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (U.S. GAAP).
• Familiarity with internal control concepts and procedures, public/private company mixed experience preferred.
• Strong excel experience (level between intermediate and advanced) with knowledge of pivot tables, lookups, etc.
• Responsibilities include journal entries, general ledger and bank reconciliations, recording deposits, and reviewing G/L accounts for reasonableness on a monthly basis.  
• Duties such as: bank reconciliations, deposits, cash collections report, unclaimed property, journal entries, assistance with accounts payable (as needed), assistance with mail distribution, operating lease schedule maintenance.
• Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses, other ad hoc reporting.
• Reports organization's finances to management, and offers suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
• Experience with Payroll journal entries for multiple companies
• Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
• Opportunities to interact with executives, including Chief Accounting Officer, VP and CEO.
• Exposure to meeting tight deadlines.
• Prefer experience with Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains).

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related area of specialty and 3-6 years of experience.  

Experience:

• 3-6 years’ experience in related field

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:  This position may require duties including lifting and carrying up to 40 pounds, sitting for prolonged periods of time, with frequent standing and walking.

DRESS ATTIRE:  Business Casual or scrubs dependent on department
