Sales Executive (Premium Vehicle Brand) – East London

Position: Sales Executive (New & Pre-Owned Vehicles)
Location: East London, Eastern Cape
Employment Type: Permanent
Salary: Basic Salary of R8,500 per month (Negotiable) plus an attractive commission structure.

About the Opportunity

A well-established premium vehicle dealership in East London is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Sales Executive to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for selling both new and pre-owned vehicles, identifying customer needs, and cross-selling across the dealership's vehicle range to maximise sales opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sell both new and pre-owned vehicles.
  • Cross-sell customers between new and used vehicle departments based on their requirements.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
  • Generate new business through networking, referrals and prospecting.
  • Conduct professional vehicle presentations and demonstrations.
  • Manage the sales process from initial enquiry through to delivery.
  • Negotiate sales agreements while maintaining dealership profitability.
  • Achieve monthly sales and profitability targets.
  • Follow up on leads and maintain an active sales pipeline.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Keep accurate records using the dealership CRM system.
  • Stay up to date with product knowledge, finance options and industry developments.

Minimum Requirements

  • Previous vehicle sales experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused with a professional approach.
  • Self-motivated and target driven.
  • Ability to build long-term client relationships.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Computer literacy and experience using CRM systems will be advantageous.
  • Well presented with a passion for the motor industry.
