Car Wash Site Attendant (9846)

What you'd be doing

This role is primarily grounds and site care, with some hands-on maintenance mixed in. You'd cover both Coos Bay and North Bend.

Grounds and site care:
- Keep the property clean and presentable at all times
- Pick up trash across the lot, empty trash cans before they overflow
- Hang up vacuum hoses, replace torn or damaged hoses, keep vacuum islands clean
- Pressure wash bays, clean bay walls, clear mud and debris from drains
- Wipe down payment kiosks, change machines, vending equipment, signage
- Remove stickers, graffiti, and vandalism as soon as you spot it
- Keep the parking lot blown off and free of debris
- Pull weeds, trim overgrowth, keep the landscaping looking maintained

Basic maintenance:
- Replace worn hoses and fittings
- Basic preventative maintenance — oil changes, greasing bearings
- Help troubleshoot equipment issues alongside a technician when something's wrong
- Watch for problems while you clean: weak vacuums, payment errors, water leaks, lighting out, signage damage, doors not closing — document it in MaintainX with photos and flag it

Documentation:
- Every visit documented in MaintainX — what site, what you did, photos, anything you flagged. Non-negotiable.

What this job actually looks like day-to-day

You're driving between Coos Bay and North Bend, keeping both sites looking like somebody cares. Pressure washing a bay, clearing a drain, hanging up hoses, greasing a bearing, swapping a worn fitting. Weekends are part of the rotation — car washes don't take a day off.

What you need to have

Required:
- Comfortable with hand tools, not afraid to get dirty
- Reliable personal vehicle — daily travel between Coos Bay and North Bend. Mileage paid between locations
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to work independently
- Available weekends
- Physical ability to climb ladders, lift 50+ lbs, work in all weather

Preferred (not required — we'll train the right person):
- Basic mechanical or maintenance experience
- Comfortable around basic electrical and plumbing with guidance
- Experience with maintenance tracking software (MaintainX or similar)
