Our Photolithography Track Development team sits at the center of Micron’s innovation engine. We partner closely with suppliers and global fabs to bring next-generation memory processes to life. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers who are passionate about solving complex manufacturing challenges and pushing technology forward.
In this role, you will lead the development and optimization of photolithography track equipment and processes that directly impact yield, performance, and scalability. You’ll collaborate across sites, influence supplier roadmaps, and bring new hardware from concept to high-volume manufacturing. Your work will play a key role in enabling future memory technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Lead track equipment development and supplier engagements to meet roadmap requirements
- Drive installation, qualification, and optimization of photolithography track systems
- Investigate process excursions and implement solutions to improve yield and performance
- Develop and optimize track recipes to meet defect, cost, and throughput targets
- Coordinate multi-functionally to define equipment specifications and improve manufacturing alignment
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience
- Validated experience with photolithography equipment development and maintenance
- Strong understanding of track processes and equipment control systems
- Experience fixing defects, uniformity issues, and process deviations
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree or equivalent experience in a technical field associated with Engineering
- Experience leading equipment installation or hardware development projects
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing workflows and fab operations
- Experience mentoring developing engineers or leading small technical teams
- Experience using AI-assisted analytics to enhance data interpretation, anomaly detection, and yield improvement initiatives
