Position Summary:
The Calumet College of St. Joseph Theology Program seeks applicants to fill an adjunct faculty position for the Fall 2026 semester. The applicant will teach a Social Justice course as part of the General Educational Program of the College. Courses are taught in person during regular daytime hours.
Adjunct faculty may teach up to three sections per semester.
The position requires limited participation in on-campus events and attendance at occasional faculty meetings and training sessions outside of normal teaching hours.
Requirements
Required Qualifications/Experience:
To qualify, candidates should have or near completion of a master’s degree, in a theological discipline. The ideal candidate will work well with underprepared and first-generation college students from diverse backgrounds. Strong written and oral communication skills are required, both as a professional and as someone teaching those skills to others.
Candidates must be able to demonstrate ability to work in the United States; Calumet College of St. Joseph is not able to provide visa sponsorship.
